I woke up early this morning because I had my alarm set (by accident) for 4:05 a.m. So I tried to go back to sleep, but it was light, and I had several strange dreams. I can only remember this one:
I was down at the Court of Appeal on the request of my boss, but in the dream I was unable to recall what I needed to do there. I grabbed my cell phone and tried to call the office but I kept getting wrong numbers of people who wanted to talk to me, even though I had the wrong number. I used the phone book in my phone, but it still didn’t work. It was quite frustrating.
Meanwhile, there were all these people wearing costumes walking around the hallways and rooms of the court. One was dressed as the Statue of Liberty, and others had colorful and elaborate outfits, most of which were bulky and pointy.
I kept thinking, “They’ll never believe I’ve been down here all this time.” I was sure that I was going to get reprimanded for wasting time.
Finally I got through to my office and the guy who answers the phone says something unusual (I can’t remember exactly what, but it was not what he’s supposed to say). So I said, “That’s no way to answer the phone, put Robin on.” Then I dropped the phone and when I picked it up I could hear Robin’s voice and she was saying, “It’s not a head without hair.” So I said, “It’s not hair without dandruff.”
That was my dream.
